Respite Center
Every Wednesday 9 am - 11 am

Westminster operates a Respite Center every Wednesday for homeless folks in the area to get off the streets for a while and spend time in our Courtyard and Patio room. There are hot beverages and cool water to drink, some nutritious snacks to eat, necessities (free) pop-up shop, and a charging station (two electrical power strips) so our guests can recharge their cell phones while resting. There’s also a restroom inside the Patio Room that they can use.

Loaves & Fishes
A longtime partnership to feed the homeless

Without passing judgment, and in a spirit of love and hospitality, Sacramento’s Loaves & Fishes feeds the hungry and shelters the homeless. Homeless men, women and children seeking survival services  are provided an oasis of welcome, safety, and cleanliness. A group from Westminster volunteers at Loaves & Fishes on the first Saturday each month. For more information contact the church office.
