Vacation Bible School (VBS) is one of the most fun weeks at
Westminster every year! It runs one week every year,
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Children from preschool to 6th grade are invited to participate
as campers during this faith-filled week. Activities include
storytelling, arts & crafts, and singing songs…all while making
new friends! We also serve a yummy snack each day.
Older youth (grades 7-12) are invited to participate as
volunteers, while we also offer paid internships for college-aged
students. Contact diana@westminsac.org for an application if you
are interested in applying.
Every year, all VBS participants and their families are invited
to attend one of our worship services the Sunday after VBS to
perform some of the songs they’ve learned during the week.
Registration for VBS can be obtained the first week of April and
registration closes on June 9. So don’t delay, enroll your
child/ren early!
A fun-filled week was had by children and volunteers alike at
this year’s VBS. The stage in the Social Hall was decorated to
resemble a picturesque three-tiered waterfall surrounded by
trees, stuffed animals, rocks, rafts and even a kayak. A
paper tree spanning an entire corner in the social hall was
erected by Erika Nordman so that Zacchaeus had the perfect
platform during story-time.
A fun-filled week was enjoyed by the almost 50 people attending
Westminster’s Vacation Bible School this year. From June 26-30,
2017, everyone was singing about archaeology as well as enjoying
being Treasure Seekers of God’s love.
