Westminster Presbyterian Church seeks a Praise Band Director to direct all music activity at its 9 a.m. contemporary worship service each Sunday. Skills include singing and playing an instrument. Candidate must have a vibrant faith along with experience singing, playing an instrument (preferably piano) and directing singers and musicians in worship. All are invited to attend Presbyterian Women’s annual movie night on Friday, Feb. 9 in the Club Room. A SOUP-er supper will be served at 6 p.m. and the movie will start at 6:30 p.m. And of course there will be plenty of lemonade and popcorn for everyone, too!
This year’s movie is Hidden Figures, which tells the story of a team of African-American mathematicians who faced racism and sexism while serving a vital role at NASA during the early years of the U.S. Space Program.
