Nurturing children in grades 1-5

Children’s Worship Classes grades 1 – 5 during 9 and 11 a.m. services

Staff and volunteer teachers lead church school for 1st – 5th graders every Sunday in the Cameron Room on the first floor.  We start with scripture stories and add music, movement, and artistic expression, letting every child know that God loves them just the way they are.

At the 9 a.m. service, teachers will escort children to church school after opening hymns and prayers. At the 11 a.m. service, children are invited to the front of the church to hear a Children’s Message after opening hymns and prayers. After that, they can either stay in the service or attend church school. Children who stay in the sanctuary can look for books and activities in the rear pews. Parents pick up their children in the Cameron Room after services so they can all attend coffee hour together.
