Children’s Worship Classes grades 1 – 5 during 9 and 11 a.m. services
These classes are led by volunteer teachers and are for 1st – 5th graders, focusing on scripture stories, music, movement, and artistic expression. They are held in the Cameron Room, on the main floor. At the 9 a.m. service teachers will escort children after opening hymns and prayers. At the 11 a.m. service, children are invited to the front of the church to hear a Children’s Message after opening hymns and prayers. They can then either stay in the service or attend the special Children’s Worship Classes. Parents pick up their children in the Cameron Room after services.
Worship Arts Classes – grades 1 – 5 at 10 a.m Sundays
Our Worship Arts Class for 1st through 5th graders is held Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. in the Cameron Room on the first floor. This 60-minute class offers children an opportunity to explore various artistic endeavors, while parents can attend one of the many adult classes offered throughout the year, or just take a stroll in the park.
Our worship arts teacher, Michelle Mosnier, provides an “art” rich class that promotes creativity and kindles discussion all at the same time. The children are shown different art techniques as a way in which to stimulate creativity while deepening their faith.
