Gender politics class concludes. During the 10 a.m. adult education class, we will hear from the Sacramento LGBT Community Center and the Gender Health Center. Learn about these two Sacramento-based organizations, what is happening locally, and how we as a faith community can be supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.
Hot Dog BBQ & youth fundraiser. The annual cookout takes place in the courtyard after the 11 a.m. service. There is no cost to attend, but a goodwill donation basket will be available. This is the youth’s last fundraiser before their mission trip to Chiloquin, Oregon this July.
Sacramento Public Library discussion on homelessness. Join together with the community to share concerns with local experts whose work serves the local homeless community.
