Westminster Presbyterian Church seeks a Praise Band Director to direct all music activity at its 9 a.m. contemporary worship service each Sunday. Skills include singing and playing an instrument. Candidate must have a vibrant faith along with experience singing, playing an instrument (preferably piano) and directing singers and musicians in worship. There are several ways you can help those affected by the Camp Fire & Woolsey Fire:
Send GIFT CARDS directly to Bidwell Presbyterian Church in Chico to be distributed to victims. Please send cards to 208 W. First Street, Chico, CA 95928. Suggested cards include:
Prepare DISASTER BUCKETS to be used in the cleanup process. Please purchase all liquids in plastic bottles and send only NEW, unopened materials. Put all items in the plastic bucket, packed securely to avoid damage during shipment, and seal lid with packing tape. The Sacramento Presbytery Disaster Commission will arrange the transportation of the buckets to Paradise. Please note that each bucket must contain exactly what is listed. Please do not add any additional items. Each bucket must contain:
1 – 5-gallon bucket with resealable lid
5 – scouring pads
7 – sponges, assorted sizes
1 - scrub brush
1 – pkg. cleaning towels (18 reusable, like Easy Wipes®)
1 – 50 oz. or two 25 oz. bottle(s) of liquid laundry detergent
1 – liquid concentrated household cleaner (like Lysol®), 12 oz.
