Habitat for Humanity build day planned for June
Extend Westminster's Mission Outreach through Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, June 9

Join the Mission Outreach Ministry Team in meaningful, hands-on mission work. Gather with friends from Westminster on Saturday, June 9, at 7:30 a.m. at a local building site to be selected by Habitat for Humanity. After a safety briefing, the volunteers will work until 1:30 p.m.

Persons 16 years old and older are invited to volunteer for work in various construction capacities. Any persons under 17 must also have a parent accompanying them. For those not skilled in construction techniques, there are other important tasks to do such as landscaping and painting. No need to bring any tools. Volunteers will wear comfortable work clothes, sturdy shoes, and caps or sun hats.

Mission Outreach will publicize more specific details as the project develops. Westminster can have up to 12 volunteers for the work group.  Others may want to provide lunch for the group. A sign-up sheet is in the Church office. If this volunteer work appeals to you, please stop by the church office and add your name to the list or e-mail secretary@westminsac.org.
