Westminster Presbyterian Church seeks a Praise Band Director to direct all music activity at its 9 a.m. contemporary worship service each Sunday. Skills include singing and playing an instrument. Candidate must have a vibrant faith along with experience singing, playing an instrument (preferably piano) and directing singers and musicians in worship. Westminster Deacons are a group of elected members who provide a caring ministry for members of the church. A strong emphasis on outreach and congregational care is included in their work. Find out what they’re doing to assist our faith community so they may put the church’s faith into action.
Classes for adults and children are held in several locations in the church:
Children first through sixth grades are in the Cameron Room, Junior and Senior High Youth in the Jackson Room, Adult Sunday Morning Bible Study in the Serra Room, and the Feasting on the Word Adult Study takes place in the Club Room. Connecting On Wednesdays (COW) is a small group ministry for all ages that runs for six weeks in the Spring and the Fall, meeting Wednesday evening. This gathering continues to be a vibrant source for nurturing our spirit within Westminster. Come join the congregation and experience fellowship in a new way!
Each Wednesday begins with fellowship around the dinner table at 5:45pm in the Social Hall, followed by a choice of small group studies from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in classrooms around the church.
