Westminster Presbyterian Church seeks a Praise Band
Director to direct all music activity at its 9 a.m. contemporary
worship service each Sunday. Skills include singing and playing
an instrument. Candidate must have a vibrant faith along with
experience singing, playing an instrument (preferably piano) and
directing singers and musicians in worship. This is a part-time
position, up to 10 hours a week. Salary commensurate with

child with her husband Robert, who was at the time an inmate at
an insane asylum near Bonn. She was not permitted to visit him,
so her only source of solace and companionship during her
recovery was the young Brahms. As a gift, he began to bring
her variations on Schumann’s Albumblatt in F sharp minor
from the Bunte Blätter, a piece which Clara herself had used as
the basis for a set of variations (her Op.

practitioner, speaker, teacher and professional musician for over
25 years playing trombone, piano, and ancient indigenous
instruments. Versed in many styles of music from big band jazz,
funk, R&B, reggae, salsa, brass ensembles and pit orchestras,
René has backed many established artists in the industry such as
Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis, the Temptations, Mary Wilson of the
Supremes, Joe Williams, Jah Levi & Gregg Allman, to name a few.
