Westminster Presbyterian Church seeks a Praise Band
Director to direct all music activity at its 9 a.m. contemporary
worship service each Sunday. Skills include singing and playing
an instrument. Candidate must have a vibrant faith along with
experience singing, playing an instrument (preferably piano) and
directing singers and musicians in worship. This is a part-time
position, up to 10 hours a week. Salary commensurate with

The Administration Ministry Team is responsible for
preparing and monitoring the church’s operating and capital
budget, as well as overseeing major repairs and improvements to
the church building and property.
The Christian Education (CE) Ministry Team provides
religious education and nurturing spiritual growth through group
study, resulting in connected fellowship.
The team oversees several aspects of Westminster, including the
childcare, children’s and youth Sunday school classes, Vacation
Bible School, Connecting on Wednesdays, and much more.
Volunteer Sunday School teachers are always needed…contact the office if you
are interested!
The Membership Ministry Team works with the Session to receive
new members and integrate existing members into the life of
Westminster. This includes hosting new members classes, as well
as organizing advertisement campaigns and other publicity
efforts.
The team also coordinates the Sunday ushers and greeters.
Westminster’s Mission & Outreach Ministry team helps the church
engage in missions locally and beyond; encourages individual
participation in specific mission projects and programs.
The Personnel Ministry Team supports Westminster on all
staffing matters. This includes recruitment and hiring,
professional development, and handling staff problems.
The Worship Ministry Team works with the pastor and
music department to provide effective and meaningful worship
experiences at Westminster.
In worship, the people of God acknowledge God present in the
world and in their lives. The faithful offer themselves to God
and are equipped for God’s service in the world. We find creative
expressions in architecture, furnishings, appointments,
vestments, music, drama, language and movement to awaken us to
God’s presence.
