Connecting On Wednesdays (C.O.W.)
2019 Lenten Series
We gather as a community of faith, friends, and family to share a meal, explore our-selves and our faith. This program is open to all ages, membership in Westminster Presbyterian Church or any other faith program is not required.
Wednesdays: March 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10
(Kerygma will additionally meet on Wednesday April 24 and May 1.)
5:30 Fellowship and gathering
5:45 Dinner served. Please join us. Adults $5, Children free.
If you have special dietary needs feel free to bring a sack dinner and join us in fellowship.
6:30-7:30 small groups (Kerygma may run later)
Ukulele - explore your creative side, have fun, make a joyful noise! No prior experience required, instruments are being acquired for learning or bring your own. As we are bringing in a guest instructor, we are requesting a donation of $5-10 per participant.
The Wired Word – Come join the discussion of recent news events from a biblical/theological perspective using The Wired Word curriculum. Participants will receive an email in advance of the class with information on the event to be discussed. Very thought provoking and faith building!
Kerygma – Join in for our 7-week study of the Book of Job, “Navigating Troubled Waters”, led by Rev. Bob Fernandez. The class will run from 6:30 to 8 pm for 7 Wednesdays, March 13 – May 1. The resource book is $20 (scholarships are available). Advanced registration and commitment to attend the entire series is requested.
