Westminster offers many opportunities for children, youth and
teens. Our programs seek to engage our youth in the fabric of
Sacramento. Young people are encouraged on a personal journey of
faith and growth, based on morality, smart choices, and community
service. Activities include recreational time, mission trips, and
more. Come check us out!
Meet us at the Pipeworks (16th & North B Streets) on Friday,
May 18, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for a rock climbing
adventure! There is ample of opportunity for novices and
youth to learn the essentials on easier walls as well.
Every year we get the same question from the parents and the
children alike, “Why can’t you do this for another
week?” It really is such a wonderful week, learning stories
from the Bible, making crafts, participating in fun games,
great music, learning about mission and collecting coins and
canned food items for those less fortunate.
Check out our website for next year’s dates and
registration information in the Spring of 2012.
Middle and high school youth from all over get together for
dinner, ping-pong, foosball, volleyball, or just hang out. This
year, we’ve added our version of Minute to Win It games!
Our social hall provides a “home base” for youth with a
free dinner and fellowship on Wednesday nights during the school
year. This program specifically engages youth both from our
church and from the local community.
Eight Junior High youth and nine Senior High youth spent a week
of their summer volunteering through Sierra Service Project in
South Central Los Angeles and at the Roundvalley Indian
Reservation in Covelo, California.
We would like to express our appreciation to our church family
for their support in making these trips possible. We are already
anticipating new year’s mission trip destinations, knowing it is
the Spirit that takes us there!
