At Westminster, membership and leadership opportunities are open
to all people solely on the basis of an affirmation of faith in
Jesus Christ, without regard to race, nationality, age, gender,
sexual orientation, level of education or income, or any enabling
or disabling conditions.
Membership works with the Session to receive new members and
integrate existing members in the life of the Church.
Participation in Membership requires enthusiasm, writing and
communication skills, and knowledge of Westminster and its
programs.
The Christian Education (C. E.) Department provides religious
education and nurturing spiritual growth through group study,
resulting in connected fellowship.
Westminster Deacons are a group of elected members who provide a
caring ministry for members of the church and for the community.
A strong emphasis on outreach is included in their work. Find out
what they’re doing to improve the community and put faith into
action.
The Administration Department’s is responsible for preparing and
monitoring the church’s operating and capital budget, and
overseeing major repairs and improvements to the church building
and property.
All women of Westminster Church are members of WPW and are
cordially invited to attend our circle meetings and general
gatherings. Today’s Presbyterian Women share this historical
commitment to support the mission of the church worldwide through
hands-on efforts.
